I received mine and I have spent all afternoon and evening with it. I love it. It's an exceptional monitor. I'll share more specific impressions later after I test out more features and have time to write it all up.

With all of the recent US restocks for the ViewSonic XG2431, has anyone been able to find a retailer that has inventory that will ship to Europe?
B&H Photo do ship to Europe, but they've had pre-orders up for months, and I don't want to be at the back of large queue.
I was hoping Amazon to receive stock for this monitor, but they do not seem to have done so on this restock run. I shall keep waiting. :-(

Not sure what the best strobing and response time settings are. Waiting for input on that. I can do any testing you guys want me to just tell me how to do it and I'll try

So the monitor was supposed to arrive on the 12th, then it was delayed to the 14th, and now FedEx has no delivery date and it's scheduled as "pending" when it's in a city 20 minutes away. So.. that's pretty cool.
Same thing happened to me, it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and today it just turned to pending. Thanks, FedEx. Anyway, looking forward to hearing what people have to say about it.

Just received it yesterday! (like two days after it changed to status pending) I'm really enjoying it so far. The 240hz is SO MUCH smoother than my VA 100hz and it just feels snappier.

Even when I'm getting only like 80 FPS, it feels smoother and easier to play games on because of the motion blur reduction (I'm very sensitive to motion blur and can feel queasy). I'm getting a very tiny bit of double image in the video game panning test (have my mode set to "Normal", which is still honestly great IMO), but I plan on downloading the custom tool and testing out different settings as well.

I'm very happy with my purchase and it was worth the wait/hassle IMO :)

For the XG2431, I provid pretuned strobe settings that are factory-preinstalled into all monitors, with automatically loading pretuned presets at 240Hz, 224Hz, 200Hz, 180Hz, 165Hz, 144Hz, 120Hz, 100Hz, 85Hz, 75Hz, and 60Hz, for Light, Normal, Extreme and Ultra. The monitor has 60, 100, 120, 144 and 240Hz preactivated (by plug-and-play). Additional supported optional custom refresh rates can be created by NVIDIA Control Panel. Strobe presets automatically load when you switch refresh rates.

Ultra will have less motion blur but will be darker. Most people will use Extreme or Normal as a brightness-vs-clarity compromise. Adjust to your personal preference.

Any refresh rate below a preset rounds down to the previous preset (e.g. 170Hz strobing would load the 165Hz preset). Don't forget that refresh rate headroom is directly proportional to strobe crosstalk. The lower the refresh rate, the less strobe crosstalk, due to LCD limitations of any LCD panel.

Best Strobe Settings for XG2431 Depends On Your Goals

The ViewSonic Strobe Utility instructions for best strobing is www.blurbusters.com/xg2431
  • For easy low lag esports strobing
...I recommend just switching to 240Hz + VSYNC OFF for esports. Choose your favorite PureXP setting which will load the pre-tuned strobe preset. Strobe Utility is not mandatory.
  • For easy high quality strobing
...I recommend the built-in 120Hz preset + VSYNC ON (or a 120fps cap) to ensure and framerate=Hz. Strobe Utility is not mandatory.
  • For advanced custom ultralow-crosstalk strobing (like LightBoost but better)
...strobe at 144Hz-or-lower strobing with Strobe Utility, and preferably also the Quick Frame Transport (QFT) tweak, and framerate=Hz achieved by your favorite means of choice (VSYNC ON -or- framerate cap -or- RTSS Scanline Sync / etc)
  • For advanced custom zero-crosstalk strobing with perfectly no double images of any kind (like CRT, OLED, Quest2)
...strobe in range of 60Hz-thru-(85Hz-ish / 120Hz-ish) with Strobe Utility *and* ToastyX CRU QFT tweak *and* framerate=Hz achieved by your favorite means of choice (VSYNC ON -or- framerate cap -or- RTSS Scanline Sync / etc)

Further impressions... I'm still loving this monitor. I can safely say that it is the best monitor I've ever owned. The motion quality is exceptional and very customizable. As others have reported, 60Hz up through about 120Hz is perceptually crosstalk free while using large vertical totals. Which is amazing. CRT motion-clarity without noticeable artifacts is finally here!
Thanks for the compliments!

Careful about the listing on Amazon since it's a 3rd party seller with poor reviews.

Does PureXP automatically switch depending on the frames that are being pushed? I try to push 240HZ but my game doesn't always hit 240. So it'll fluctuate between 180 to 240 depending on what's happening in the game.

If I was to cap to 144 hz, I have to do this through Nvidia control panel right? And then cap it in game as well. I'm assuming strobe utility will adjust, though not sure how?

Also wanted to ask if I play games on 60hz do I have to cap frames from nvidia as well or can I just do it in-game?
