Really? I am checking it multiple times per day and still have only seen "PC Nation".

Thank you for the compliment.SaberEdge wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021, 02:23Further impressions... I'm still loving this monitor. I can safely say that it is the best monitor I've ever owned. The motion quality is exceptional and very customizable. As others have reported, 60Hz up through about 120Hz is perceptually crosstalk free while using large vertical totals. Which is amazing. CRT motion-clarity without noticeable artifacts is finally here!
So far I believe I've tuned the best desktop strobed IPS panel (when re-tuned with the QFT modes with Large VTs).
The only LCD as low motion blur as XG2431 (without crosstalk) that I've seen is currently the Oculus Quest 2 VR LCD as well as the Valve Index VR LCD. Zero trailing images at www.testufo.com/crosstalk when re-tuned with lower-Hz, QFT, and Strobe Utility as per instructions at www.blurbusters.com/xg2431
I hope reviewers begin to understand the refresh rate headroom techniques.

If I cap using RTSS frame rate, vsync or in-game, does Pure XP recognize that there is a frame rate cap?Chief Blur Buster wrote: ↑18 Nov 2021, 19:41
For quality-priority strobing, you can just use almost any method of capping framerate=Hz
- Ordinary VSYNC ON combined with NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency
- Low-Lag VSYNC HOWTO
- RTSS frame rate cap
- RTSS Scanline Sync
- In-game framerate cap (not as accurate as RTSS)
- NVIDIA frame rate cap (instead of RTSS)
The instructions for the various methods are different.
I cap frames in NVIDIA like this? https://jmp.sh/udmopJb
And then when I pull up the monitor OSD stats I see that I'm at 1920x1080 @ 240FPS.
I'm assuming that's what PureXP uses as the FPS to strobe at? So for all of the methods you've listed, do I still have to set a cap w/ the relative frame rates in Nvidia (as the picture above).
I'm trying to understand how PureXP determines strobe fps. I have more questions that depend on the answer to this one haha
These are newbie questions but I'm trying to learn this stuff

Re: ViewSonic Now Shipping XG2431 as of NOW!!! [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS]
I got this monitor finally and while I do like it, I am finding myself not liking it being so small I think. I purchased a 27" dell 165hz monitor to test 1440p gaming as well and have been going back to back with this viewsonic. I have to say, I kind of like the size and clarity of the images gaming on the 27" 1440p. I dont know what to do now. I like the viewsonic but, my desktop so small with it. And because the screen is smaller gaming, I feel like I can spot enemies easier on the 27" 1440p than I can on the viewsonic 2431. I am conflicted now...

Downsizing resolution and size can be rough - but I can confirm you get used to it. Couple of weeks as main and it will feel perfectly normal form factor / ppi again.masterblaster wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 10:56I got this monitor finally and while I do like it, I am finding myself not liking it being so small I think. Yeah, I am sure that is true. I am conflicted now because this was the first time on a 27" 1440p and I did kind of like the clarity and having bigger targets. I normally play at resolutions of 1080p or even lower. So in the past week I went from a 25" 1900x1200 dell 60hz monitor which I was used to, then to a viewsonic 24" 2431 and to a 27" 1440p. So I am all over the place now with what I want and like.planart wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 14:20Downsizing resolution and size can be rough - but I can confirm you get used to it. That's also been the reason I haven't purchased it yet, although I may consider it.masterblaster wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 14:46Yeah, I am sure that is true. The one thing about a 27" 1080p monitor is, if it's too big, you can just move it back a bit on your desk and you have the same PPI as a 24" 1080p with respect to viewing size, except the monitor is farther back physically. But if you have a 24" 1080p, you can't make it bigger.
If Viewsonic made a 27" 1080p with 60hz single strobe or a 27" 1440p with 60hz single strobe, blur busters 2.0 approved,
