That is not true. I can do 61Hz thru 99Hz in mere 0.001Hz steps.

You just need to use a Custom Resolution Utility (Such as ToastyX CRU or NVIDIA Control Panel) to create a custom refresh rate.

Hmm ya there is a way for even down to 60Hz actualy. It says it on top of the (Blur Buster Utility). You just have to create a custom resolution I guess to enable it at those "unofficial" frequencies though I really don't recommand going under 85 or at the very very least 75Hz.

The game doesn't allow anything between 60 - 100, should've been more clear. There is no in-build FPS limiter.

So at around 90Hz the flicker subsides enough not to notice it anymore, it's barely there @ 85Hz but it's noticable. Less than that and it's unusable for me which I find little odd seeing as I've not read anyone else say this?

Considering there's hardly any difference with 90Hz and the existing 100Hz, I see no reason to create that profile.

Does VT1500 or VT1502 trick makes input lag a tiny lower (better) in regular FPS1 mode with BenQ Blur Reduction OFF?

I can't tell but I sure have absolutely zero input lag with VT1500 and my (Steelseries Rival). I personnaly see no point at all in playing game without Blur Reduction as it's pretty much the only reason to buy this pricey monitor! I don't use any of the presets on the BenQ as they are all super ugly and way overbright, like what's the point of having a monster computer to run every games on maximum setting if you're giving it terrible shadows and colors?! I even use a (X-Rite Colormunki Display) to calibrate the monitor to 6500K and 120cd/m2 then I simply do the VT1500 trick and activate the strobbing if I'm playing a game. Idealy you want to set a "max fps" a tiny bit under your refresh rate to have better results, I use 100Hz.

Is there someone who gets headaches too when using VT1500 or VT1502. Man i can't look more then 30-40 Minutes into the monitor. I Now Play cs:go with 144 hz Blur Reduction off still better then my old 2420T rev.1 with just 120 hz.

Generally the Blur Reduction is hard to handle for me. Are there any Tricks to lessen the strain on the eyes with BR turned on?

greets

Umm it's already way better with 100Hz and above than 60Hz strobbing and the monitor is already a "Flicker-Free" version so I don't know what else you could try other than lowering the brightness to 120cd/m2 which on my XL2120Z is having the brightness to 13. Then maybe try V-Sync?

The monitor is only flicker free when strobing is OFF.
All blur reduction strobing backlighits flicker by nature. Some people are sensitive to it.
CRT's handle this slightly differently (even though that's also a stereoscopic display) which is why most people didn't get headaches at 120hz+ on CRT's.

I just bought a XL2411Z v2 and Im not sure about my settings so far. Primarily I use it for Counterstrike Global Offensive and Blur Reduction hurts my eyes. I cant even play 30 minutes when it's turned on(but Alien Phototest looks so much better, so I guess im missing out if it's disabled). My Settings so far:
144Hz
Brightness 50
Contrast 50
Low Blue Light 0
Black eQualizer 10
Blur off
Colors 92 92 92
Ama High
Instant On
Sharpness 5
Picture Mode FPS1
Some BenQ ICC 144Hz Profile

BenQ Game Mode Loader doesnt work for me, whenever I install one(could only find some for 2720T), only the Profilename changes but the settings remain.

And to be honest I dont understand howto do the VT1500 trick :x , my Monitor went black last time I tried to add a Detailed Resolution. Had to Boot into Safe-Mode and remove it to get it working again. Would appreciate some help. Im using the "Custom Resolution Utility 1.1.2 by ToastyX" and a ATI 280X Graphics Card.

I tried some stuff, this time im using:
Blur Reduction on
120 Hz
Brightness 100
Contrast 50
Low Blue Light --greyed out
Black eQualizer --greyed out
Colors 95 92 100
Ama High
Instant On
Sharpness 5
Gamma 5
Picture Mode Standard
XL2420Z 120Hz ICC Profile

is this VT1502 trick working now? I didnt get a Black Screen this time and this is my Setup in Custom Resolution Utility. No idea how to check if its working..
Image

are those Settings alright for playing Counterstrike? Still looking for any kind of improvement! Resolution 1440x1080 so its 1:1 and 4:3
My Monitor OSD Information tells me current Resolution@60Hz, but it's set to 120Hz in Windows and ingame OSD Information is also @60Hz but if I turn VSync on I got 120FPS. ?? I think this is since I changed VT1502
