Hello. I have CRT monitor Samtron 96BDF 19". Since sunday, I got first visual distortions (wrong colors...) problem and tried to press degauss button to remove this problem with difficulty. But next days, degauss can't remove the problem. Degauss is damaged in inside of monitor. Where? Wire?

When you say "degauss button not work",
Do you mean Degauss button has no action (doesn't even try to degauss, no image glitching)
Or do you mean after a degauss, it does try to degauss (image shakes) but nothing happens after?

Re: Degauss button not work = damaged on CRT monitor
Usually when the degauss isn't working it's a problem with a relay. Relays are usually easy to replace if you know what you're doing as to not get shocked. Otherwise, you can get a "degaussing wand" for like 15 bucks. These are cheap Chinese junk for arcade monitors (some arcade machines did not include degauss coils) BUT with practice, you can get it to look normal with one (just don't leave it plugged in there have been reports that these cheap Chinese wands can melt even when off when left plugged in) Only problem is... you have to degauss any time you move the monitor or rotate it to face another direction. The loss in purity is due to the earth's magnetic field most of the time.

@Naveronasis Relay problem. Yeah, it's very likely. I've other CRT monitor Samtron 95P Plus 19" with CRT tube burnt and I'll retire a "new" relay on this monitor and move to replace the relay to other monitor 96BDF.

I tried to use the soldering gun for fix the colour patch problem but this problem fixed isn't completed.
Photo - the repair isn't completed: But my soldering gun is +/-30 years old (very old).
At the center of the screen - 2 photos:
-Soldering gun - (not me) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTbkP9khh2c This is good.
-My soldering gun This is bad!?
--> How do I use my soldering gun for fix completely colour patch? If the repair fails to complete, I'll ask what's the other soldering gun.

Re: Degauss button not work = damaged on CRT monitor
A super hacky fix is to find another CRT and put them face to face. The bad one can be on or off, degauss the new one. The coil will be close enough to effect both.
