Crosstalk Setting 0 ?

Post by SigmaInigma » 08 Jul 2014, 17:41

I am using the 1350 trick and in the guide for the Blur Reduction Utility it says to set the crosstalk to 0. What is zero? My crosstalk slider has no numbers.
With Blur Busters Strobe Utility, re-adjust by following instructions in previous sections. For 120Hz, the “Crosstalk” setting 0 is usually best with the 1350 trick.

Farthest on the left is 0.
It should show strobe phase=000 in the service menu for that.
Using the VT 1502 tweak (instant mode set to off will scramble the screen at 120hz with this tweak but NOT with 100 hz, but you should have instant mode on unless you want ugly artifacts even VT tweaks won't remove), at 100 and 120 hz and persistence at 0.5ms actually makes BBR look BETTER than lightboost (on the exact same screen..e.g. if you had unlocked/activated LB with an Nvidia GPU). But the screen is very dark so that's best used at night.

Setting contrast to 40 instead of the recommended 50 also helps improve the overdrive ghosting (you can tell a noticeable difference in testufo/alien invasion/full screen...a very noticeable difference, actually from going from 50 to 40).
