Good FPS player admits he has hitreg andvantage
Here is a video from a battlefield player called ZINZIRIO where he shows how unfair his hitreg is against a twitch streamer that was in his lobby.
It’s really rare that gamers that do well in games understand that they have this “advantage” against other players. They usually think that they are just much better than everyone else. In the video, ZINZIRIO says that it's impossible to react and win a gunfight based on the desync that the other twitch streamer is seeing. I’ve been on both ends of this while testing a bunch of different things throughout my “bad hitreg and input lag” journey and it honestly sucks how different a good and bad experience is when playing online. Just recently I created a separate ground for my setup only and the first 30mins of playing was so good that I got banned from a BF3 server because I was sponging so many bullets that the other players did not stand a chance. ZINZIRIO claims that it’s your internet that’s important but honestly, I don’t know because I’ve done both internet (NETDUMA, no packet loss, A+ bufferbloat, and windows tweaks) and EMI (Filters, ferrites, BIOS, ground) tweaks that gave great temporary relief (I also experience bad hitreg offline sometimes). If I remember correctly, I’ve seen posts from someone in this forum with the username ZINZIRIO with regard to hitreg but I'm not sure if it’s the same person but if it is, maybe they can help since they're on the good side of this issue that a lot of us face.

Yep, I remember when I installed the separate ground line solely for my PC and CSGO never felt better for about 4 days. Then on the 5th day everything started creeping back, the hitreg issues, the desync, the sluggish movement and delayed inuput, the uncontrollable weird spray. Those were my last days of CSGO too. I kinda gave up trying to find a solution, at least not religiously. 2 years and shit ton of money wasted were more than enough to convince me to stop.

something tells me that this is a windows error, it seems to depend on a good/bad startup.

Everything what you see and feel online is Internet based and this is mostly based on where you living. Many people just dont questioning it because they think that ping only matters which is absoloutly not true.
You can even see the differences when you just compare on twitch the gameplays and take a closer look on how is everything reacting to you.
Just compare how slow and easy enemy tracking is, on a good line. You can also see it on the spray and shoot behavours.

I wish I can agree with this and call it a day, I tried 3 different ISPs, all of them with FTTH connetion, all of them exhibiting the exact same problems while having different higher or lower pings "i.e. they don't use the same infrastructure, or routing". Not to mention the current game that I play from time to time is called Planetside 2, this game is a massive mmorpg and the server is holding close to 2000 players spread into different continents. Hitreg, movement, etc is all client-based, the server just updates the client with a slow tickrate "given the game's nature", and I still suffer from the exact same issues I mentioned before, with the desync being even more sever at times as a result of the client-sided nature of the game. Srpay control is just as annoying and practically impossible to control, sluggish weapon switching, delayed input. It checks all the boxes to say the least.Unreazz wrote: ↑04 Jun 2022, 20:27Everything what you see and feel online is Internet based and this is mostly based on where you living. As much as I would also like to agree with anyone saying everyone has it in a different way and different problem suggestion, it does not explain the fact that its either you have all the issues "desync, sluggish wep switching, delayed input, spray control problems, hitreg problems, etc etc" together or you don't have any. You don't get desync while having amazing spray, hitreg, and everything else. So its like they all go bad or good as a package.

Might be, who knows. Most of the times people saying this fixed it for a while was always because whatever they did ended up with a restart, or a total PC shutdown with AC cabled unplugged and then replugged.
Re: Good FPS player admits he has hitreg andvantage
can you confirm Linux doesn't have a hitreg problem?
Re: Good FPS player admits he has hitreg andvantage
Some are so funny. This guy writes - this is a bug in windows. in 2022. when more than enough is already known about the problem. At least there are a lot of topics here.
Windows error yes. Install Linux if it's windows. If windows error, then the problem will be everywhere, right? Are you have broken of timers or what? Put Linux, play with bots, play the usual mm, the problem will be there. do it and don't write nonsense.
Why is it easier for you to believe in some stupid windows error (which no one in a normal place has) Than the fact that your equipment is malfunctioning due to interference, even at the moment of switching on, or it’s your reboot (when consumption higher), etc. .d.
this is so funny that you are talking about windows errors
