My games & windows are way smoother during night. Around 2:00/3:00, At daytime it feels sluggish. And mouse movement doesn't feel sharp. This is all fixed during night
I mostly play apex legends, that games feels the most choppy of all games i play.
Things I've tried
stock windows 20h2
stock windows 21h2
stock windows 7 sp1
125hz, 500hz, 1000hz polling
different usb ports (usb 2, usb 3, front panel)
all devices unplugged except mouse
different mouse, different keyboard, different mousepad
180fps cap, 160fps cap, uncapped fps
r5apex low priority, high priority
mouse interrupt cpu affinity
different nvidia drivers
cpu underclock
cpu overclock
cpu stock (stock bios)
hyperthreading on, off
different monitor
entirely different rig (gtx 1650s amd ryzen 7 2700x)
Tried legacy mode & mbr
Different power plans
Power saving features all on in bios
Updated bios to latest
Used rtss & gsync combo
Gpu undervolt
Gpu overclock
Rgb off & led mb
All fans in dc mode & full speed & silent mode
blocked windows updates & driver updates
hags off / on & msi mode on/off
tried pcie wifi card & pcie ethernet network card, both from intel
brought my pc to different locations & used mobile hotspot
