Hi there! A little help needed using scanline sync.
I was able to make it work when I have 144hz but then I upgraded to 280hz monitor, it just caps my fps to 60 when using the same settings.
Tested it with and without Scanline Sync, and I'm positive it is causing it.
PS. before comments about my ss, I have tried it on exclusive fullscreen either.
Scanline Sync caps 60 fps on high refresh rate

Are you using two monitors maybe? It might be syncing against the wrong monitor.

It's a very common problem. There should be automatic alerts in RTSS to warn multimonitor users.

I'm struggling on this tho. Should I disconnect my 60hz monitor every pc restart?Chief Blur Buster wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022, 20:33It's a very common problem. There should be automatic alerts in RTSS to warn multimonitor users.

There's a setting in the ini file where you specify which monitor to use for sync.zappthed wrote: ↑14 Jul 2022, 05:01I'm struggling on this tho. I can't seem to find any ini file beside cfg files which is profiles and it is lacking on documentation on how things work.RealNC wrote: ↑14 Jul 2022, 11:53There's a setting in the ini file where you specify which monitor to use for sync.zappthed wrote: ↑14 Jul 2022, 05:01I'm struggling on this tho. Really struggling here to make scanline sync work
Re: Scanline Sync caps 60 fps on high refresh rate
I believe it's the SyncDisplay setting in the [Framerate] section of the config file. So just add this in the [Framerate] section of your Profiles/Global:
Where N should be the display you want to sync against, starting from 0. (So 0 is the first display, 1 is the second display.)SyncDisplay = N
