The reason people are becoming more and more skeptical about these kinds of posts is because we've all seen the same movie before. The movie about a guy who found a fix yet doesn't realize that he actually didn't. Share your fix mate, and let everyone else help you verify your theory practically by trying it.
Anyways, for what its worth, yes it's either the inputlag is a little bit better than usual and everything else becomes good with it, or everything all together is just an absolute nightmare! I.E. The desync comes coupled with heavy inputlag feel, degraded audio presence and bad surround sound representation, washed up screen colors, laggy stuttery gameplay as if you're playing on 60fps. Taking damage animations is no longer synced with the enemy's movements or weapon muzzle flash, peeking a corner into an enemy player is almost impossible, holding a corner is an absolute no-no even if it was an off-angle.
Your Hitbox becomes weird, if crossing line of fire usually gets you hit with 1 or 2 bullets, crossing it now will mean that you will instantly die as soon as your character reaches that corner. As if your character has already crossed that corner and died even before you did. No matter how hard you try to dodge those bullets, the bullets will hit you regardless. In other words, what ever was fired in that direction at the corner you're about to peeking from, lets say 1 second before you peeked will end up registering as shots on your character all at once the moment you peek that corner. Casual/Bad players now spray you down like nothing, even while doing the worst of actions that you shouldn't do while shooting, like jumping or running, their bullets would still hit you regardless.
In some games, the damage output of specific weapons become doubled, for instance the game that I play now, I've had several occasion's where I will die to 1 headshot from a pistol that I know for a fact "weapon stats" it does not get you killed by 1 headshot, I even asked the player whether he fired more shots and the response was "nope only one headshot, weren't you low hp?" And no, I was full hp. So I'm assuming my client somehow decided to register the damage twice, or somehow I received the same packet containing the headshot damage info twice. The thing is, when this happens, I only hear the headshot sound once so it just adds to the confusion. I'm not sure why that packet is received twice or whether it was even a problem with the packet received or something else.
Now comes the most entertaining part, the input lag on everything. From firing guns, sluggish feel on switching weapons, laggy shots, insanely hard and uncontrollable random spray patterns, crosshair or "bloom" needs way more time to reset after you stop shooting which makes tapping extremely hard to control, strafing or A-D'sing become desynced from your actual inputs, slower than it should be and makes firing when counter strafing extremely inaccurate, almost like you never counter-strafed when firing. Quick scoping also becomes impossible, handling pistols in general, specifically heavy pistols I.E Desert Eagle, Shriff, NS-Commi "the variant's name in the game I play" become just useless, hard to hit with, can't counter strafe with, and just overall laggy feel when firing a shot. Tracking enemies with Automatic Rifles becomes unnatural, as if your crosshair is fighting you and moving your aim to a different pixel everytime you start firing.
Heavy feel on 1st person driven vehicles, that includes turning, rolling, speeding up or down and braking just become extremely sluggish, even increasing the sensitivity doesn't give the vehicle the agility it should have, its like something is limiting how fast a vehicle should turn, roll, speed up/down and brake.
What I've tried is almost everything, from electrical wiring, good/isolated ground, wire separations, ferrites, greenwave filters, EMF Detectors, to windows/ bios tweaks, hardware changes "everything". Nothing works, the most I've got was close to 4 days of no input lag when I first made the isolated ground line "previously the PC was not grounded at all". But then lag came back after that.
Here you go mate, prove your theory. Even though in the back of my head I feel like this was a waste of my time. Yet again, it always feels good letting things out lol.
Cheers
