VG248QE w/ G-Sync Blue Light when Off
Anybody here figured out a workaround to get the blue light to turn off when the monitor turns off via Windows power saving options? It's in my bedroom so can be annoying when everything else is pitch black

Push the power button, works for me!

I automated it! There are 3 output connections on my APC XS 1500 Uninterruptible Power Supply that are controlled by a master. I plugged my computer into the master and my monitor, external hard drive and speakers into the ports controlled by master. All three of those devices have annoying lights, LOLKoldur wrote:Push the power button, works for me!

I'm pretty sure the light stays on even without Gsync although i believe it turns orange when going in powersaving mode, ill pay attention next time mines turn off from windows and correct this post if i was wrong lol

Yeah the orange was fairly dim and not distracting while the blue is very bright. I've taken to just turning the monitor off at night.SS4 wrote:I'm pretty sure the light stays on even without Gsync although i believe it turns orange when going in powersaving mode, ill pay attention next time mines turn off from windows and correct this post if i was wrong lol
