Removing Input not supported

Hello there, im new here.
I have an very old monitor with 60-75 Hz and 1440x900 max resolution.
My GPU is RX 6400 and i enabled Virtual Super Resolution to use more options.
Problem is i can use 1920x1080 Resolution but i get this "Input Not Supported" warning floating on my screen.
I can see the desktop and use my pc normally except that warning never goes and blocks my vision.
Any chance i can edit my monitor firmware with something and remove this annoyning warning.
And also if someone wonders why im doing this is because some games does not support 16:10 aspect ratio and makes black bars on my screen.

With VSR this should never happen. What should happen is you're getting 1440x900 downscaled from 1920x1080. If that's not the case and the monitor receives a 1080p signal, then that's a bug in the AMD driver.

When i change 1440x900 to 1920x1080 (or any resolution that is 16:9) my monitor goes black (yes completely losing even backlight) then comes back with 1080p resolution but with floating warning on my screen. Im thinking that my hdmi to vga adapter causes this issue but im not expert at monitors and its signals.

Wait, is 1920x1080 even a VSR resolution? I don't think it is. 1440x900 is 16:10 while 1920x1080 is 16:9. How on earth did VSR add 1920x1080 as a resolution? That just doesn't sound right. Since your display is 16:10, only 16:10 resolutions should have been generated by VSR. Like 1920x1200, 2048x1280, 2560x1600 and 2880x1800 etc. (Basically resolutions where width divided by height equals 1.6.)

And do the 16:10 resolutions work? Then simply avoid the 16:9 ones. So only use these:

1600x1000
1680x1050
1920x1200
2560x1600
3840x2400

Yes 1920x1200 works but still makes black bars in games that does not support 16:10 resolutions. Also i don't think this is because of an amd driver bug, since it's been like this for 2 years for me. Anyways thanks for the help, i guess it's time to trash this monitor and buy a new one.

Well, that just means the bug has been there for a long time now.

To force games to a specific aspect ratio, you can try this tool:

It doesn't always work, and it doesn't have a plugin for every game that exists, but it's worth a try.
