Re: Updated MouseTester 1.4
no, this is jitter.
try another usb port / check firmware update, etc.
that not normal
Re: Updated MouseTester 1.4
Its the logitech energy saving features, pretty much turns off the mouse in fixed intervals for a brief moment to conserve battery life, turning it off should fix the spikes, the variation of 20%+- is likely powersaving features on in bios and OS.
Its actually fine if the energy saving features are on.

Re: Updated MouseTester 1.4
Well, first step is turning off the basic, put windows on high performance powerplan, turn off mouse and bios power saving features.mendiguera_ wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 09:28Ragerlis wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 06:29Its the logitech energy saving features, pretty much turns off the mouse in fixed intervals for a brief moment to conserve battery life, turning it off should fix the spikes, the variation of 20%+- is likely powersaving features on in bios and OS.

And remember, constant fast circular mouse movements, anything beside that will cause jitter in the statistics.
If no improvements are seen, a good way to diagnostic drivers is logging in safe mode and try doing the mousetester again, if the graphs are fine, the problem resides in drivers, if not, its likely hardware.
And this graph is an ok graph IF your power saving features are on, its normal 20ish% variance in a non tweaked OS.
