Asus vg248qe INF issues.

Post by gobbles04 » 26 Aug 2014, 08:55

Hey guys hope everyone's day is going well. So im having some problems with my asus gsync DIY kit monitor. Came back from a trip to the store and my monitor would not work, menu button displayed gsync monitor but all the fields were blank. I tried reformatting, uninstalling drivers with DDU nothing worked until this morning when i used your lightboost EDID override hack and suddely i got a picture but it would only max out at 800x600. I think the issue is that that hack was using the non gsync EDID info. Can anyone post me a .inf of the gsync capable DIY kit? Any other options or ideas would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

I think you should contact nvidia about this instead of trying to find a software fix. From what I've heard they've been good about helping out with DIY fixes/replacements.

Forums won't let me attach an inf or txt, so here it is:
