I run it at 280 hz, overdrive 120, fps mode
Thanks!. How about ELMB, Adaptive-Sync ?
ELMB will be disabled if OD 120. but Adaptive-Sync still has options
I disable that cause it gives a little inputlag.
I've seen you had used PG27AQN and XL2566K, why you choose to stay with VG259QM btw? Any benefit or pro and cons?
The PG27AQN was 1300 euro. I had it for 10 days then returned it for a refund. Then I bought a VG259QM second hand for 130 euro. ( with the right panel) This is literally 10 times less then the PG27AQN. I found out about the VG259QM cause Apex player/streamer FAIDE still uses this monitor. The guy has money like water so I thought the monitor still has to be good if he still mains it. And it still is. The colors look very nice and the monitor feels fast, smooth and responsive. Plus it's bright.
Keep in mind the QISDA panel is responsible for the exceptional good colors. Only the first 2 batches (could be only the 1st batch also not sure) of the VG259QM have this panel inside the monitor.
The PG27AQN had
A: No custom resolutions ( Apex and PUBG my main games, play best on custom resolutions)
and
B: ULMB2 darkened the screen to a extreme matter; the screen on the PG27AQN goes from more then 480 nits to 270 nits with ULMB2 activated. Screen was way to dark for my taste.
The XL2566K is better then the VG259QM for PUBG cause Zowie has way more constrast&color options that can make the dark or green PUBG enemies pop out in grass or dark places plus the dyac kicks ass in long distance fights that PUBG have a loth.
But I main Apex Legends now. In Apex the colors look better on the VG259QM with the QISDA panel. The Xl2566K would be just collecting dust so I sold it cause I could still get more then 400 euros for it.
I am going to buy the pg248qp though when it comes out arround next week in the EU. I hope ULMB2 does not darkens the screen so much that I rather play without it.
If it does I am gonna return it also and then wait on the way cheaper Acer 540hz or a bright 360hz 1440p OLED with hdmi 2.1 ( hdmi 2.1 does not use compression so custom resolutions should be available on 1440p 360hz.)
