Asus VG259QM to replaced my XL2546k

Post by Shinaomi » 07 Nov 2023, 09:08

Hi all I wanna try IPS for my 10yrs of life using a TN panel, I Owned XL2430T before serves me well, and now I have XL2546K, My 46k panel fked up with half right screen blurry, weird text, slightly noticeable horizontal lines and I'm out of warranty already 1 year & 4 months old still playable though. So I'm eyeing this VG259QM don't know if its worth it for 320$ any opinion?

Do you think VG259QM can compete my XL2546k?

PS: I am FPS player a very competitive.

I've replaced XL2546K with VG259QM long time ago and never regretted it.
However, if you like motion blur reduction (aka DyAc) on BenQ, I'd recommend to go with Viewsonic XG2431 for better strobed image quality.

wouldnt it be generally smarter to go for newer panel versions ? the vg259qm uses the 250HAN01.3 while the alienware hf has the newer 250HAN01.7 and it seems like that iiyama GB2590HSU-B5 has even the newest version with the 250HAN01.E. the 250HAN01.E is still in production while the other versions arent even produced anymore.
i need a new 240 hz aswell and to me the iiyama GB2590HSU-B5 seems to be the best option right now
