Hi there, as I mentioned before I changed stuff related to those 3 keywords before resetting to apply, so that was just an example of something that stood out.
I would recommend making a restore point, then going and fiddling just in-case you blue screen which another user has reported.
I kept an eye out for anything related to energy saving, clock gating etc. but that usb 2.0 is one that stood out a bit, but may very well not be the thing or things that fixed the framerate issue.
Hidden Power savings techniques causing unstable framerate FIXED!

Is my first time attempting this, but here's a mediafire link to the grub for frame of reference.

I'm actually more interested in accessing this setting:
<Legacy IO Low Latency>
I believe it's disabled by default, but enabling it should yield a reduction in latency...
In regards to scewin, unfortunately this is incompatible with my MSI Z690 board so I'll need to find another way to access hidden bios features

13 posts, first time a board name has came up, yikes.

)))This setup option disables additional clock gating and power management functions and
should always be Enabled if it is available in the BIOS setup.
source their webpage looks like a front, and I have no idea who's the author or who the target audience is but it's on point for everything else.
while you are not first person ive seen that said they've felt like full speed seems to perform better. If you are using a modern board, that setting is probably obsolete. it's your other settings that's working it. clock gating, power limits and the other one that kills your libidos.

You can try with boringboredom's github guide, there's a section for hidden bios settings guide. I used datasone's modded shell as the 1st one was not working for me. I have B560M aorus elite with 11400.kokkatc wrote: ↑06 Sep 2022, 20:46I'm actually more interested in accessing this setting:

Sorry guys for necro but
I have amd ryzen 5600x with asrock B450M PRO4-F.
I exported my biossettings via scewin.
I can't find anything related to "USB 2.0 Controller Mode", "HiSpeed', "FullSpeed".
I really want to test it out
