The VG248QE and the XL2411T are BOTH the exact same panel. (same part number by AU Optronics). So you will have the exact same 'issues'--scanlines, purple tint, etc.

The 27" monitors by AU are different, so that doesn't happen on those. (you may still see very faint scanlines at high Vertical totals though).

I thought you wanna only VG248QE has this troubles: "The vg248QE does look nicer motion blur wise, but then you have to deal with the purple tint, and the random 'scanlines' problem"
