I could not replicate your 277 FPS / Hz issue with DP 1.4 either. Not sure what's going on there.
2560x1440 can alt-tab instantly with certain games it seems, but still have the 3 second issue on some games and with 16:10 (for example CS:GO on 2560x1440 tabs instantly for me). DDU/CRU may solve this.
I'm on NVIDIA 522.25, a bit older and more stable of a driver for my 4090. Running Windows 10 21H2.
If I'm feeling brave this weekend I'll mess around with Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) to try and fix alt-tab delay. I'll probably try cleaning system first with DDU first like you are doing.
Thanks, for all your testing man... I'm not brave enough for CRU yet, and I still have to DDUH.
I installed the monitor driver, the official .icf profile, but honestly can't tell the difference.
Did you calibrate yours with tools? I felt mine was too green, and perhaps the colors are not really popping out the way I like it.

I didn't use any calibration tools. As I mentioned before my main use is Apex, so that's what I've set my monitor to mainly. Its quite high gamma and contrast but its what I like for FPS gaming. Probably not ideal for other tasks, but I'm comfortable. Can use the monitor all day without eye strain even without using Windows Night Light. Whatever technology they got in this monitor with EyeSafe / VisionCare is certainly working.
52 Brightness
70 Contrast
5 BlackBoost
Low Blue Light: Standard
Gamma: 1.8
Color Temp: Warm
Color Space: General
Overdrive: Normal
FreeSync: Off (high refresh games) or On (lower refresh games)
NVIDIA Control Panel >
Adjust Desktop Color Settings >
Gamma 1.05
Digital Vibrance 55%

VRR does not work with any other OD settings than Normal!
I've heard that on some Acer monitors you can change the overdrive with VRR. Basically, you first have to select the overdrive you want and then enable VRR and that overdrive would stick. Is that the case with your unit?

Hey:)
I just wanted to ask if this is a good monitor for gaming or if there would be a better Option?
There is a silent for 380€ on coolblue and there are no reviews but yours.
Because of that it feels kinda sketchy to buy this so I wanted to ask is it legit and is it worth the money or is there a better Option?
Thank you:))
