Network latency and mouse latency

Everything about latency. This section is mainly user/consumer discussion. (Peer-reviewed scientific discussion should go in Laboratory section). Tips, mouse lag, display lag, game engine lag, network lag, whole input lag chain, VSYNC OFF vs VSYNC ON, and more! Input Lag Articles on Blur Busters.

Guys, I also want to add: unfortunately, after performing the actions I still had a delay, on my PC I changed almost everything that was possible, BUT I didn’t try to turn off my SSD M2, yesterday I turned it off AND OH A MIRACLE, all this nonsense went away , God forgive me!

Probably one of those "unplugged my HDD/SSD and it worked' moment. No way the dude fixed the issue.

It could be the issue... I've seen bad USB cables completely cripple computers, connected to things that aren't even in use like printers.

I've seen hard drive controllers set by default to insanely high #s of interrupts, so it could completely saturate the interrupt bandwidth with interrupts, even if it's functioning "normally."

I have two M2 SSDs, one has an OS, the other has various files/games, etc. I always thought that there were no problems with it, because all games and other files from that SSD opened and worked quickly, so I never touched it, but recently I decided to try to disable it and in my case, apparently the problem was with it, but I still can’t fully understand why the mouse was sluggish with it + the damage registration in online games was nightmarishly bad.

You may be right, but everything has been working stably for me for 3 days now, it doesn’t matter what time of day it is. I will add more information here from time to time.
