And will the upcoming Oleds that have "BFI"(?If thats the right thing) be the best of both?jorimt wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 18:48What I see in those images is what I expect; the OLED has persistence blur due to non-strobed sample-and-hold, and the LCD has strobe crosstalk ghosting due to slower pixel response times.hart wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 17:56for me 240 ulmb 2 is stil way clearer than the oled
rtings images for example as their review was used previously, oled vs 240 ulmb2 at 50% pwm

sorry, maybe I'm understanding you wrong, just that I am interested in this as I had both asus now at home and I'm trying to decide which one is staying and I think the AQN is the better contender for now, specially in motion clarity side to side it's on another level
You subjectively prefer the latter, and that's perfectly fine. There's no need for FOMO or justification of a purchase. Both are good, and both serve certain preferences. There isn't a single "right" answer in this case.
PG27AQN 240Hz vs 360Hz ULMB2

Re: PG27AQN 240Hz vs 360Hz ULMB2
Unlikely for a while yet; OLEDs still can't achieve a high enough sustained full field brightness to reach the same low MPRT levels LCDs can when strobing.
