I don't think this is the cause. A fresh installed windows also has this issue. The problem will come back after a couple of days/months
Im never seen improvement like this for many years, tweaks help only for 20% max.

Now even bots dont prefire me with 4 bullets in body. Even other games behave differently now! Amazing! I forgot this feeling many years ago
Only in frend pc I can taste it. Until now, thanks kibii

Felt hesitant to make this post at first but the fact that it made a difference for two of you guys made me happy. Such a strange phenomenon but it seems like there is a correlation between desync/input lag and real time push notifications (between desktop/mobile apps) that is affecting some of us.

My steam settings (windows app) were all on default anyway. I have discord but don't use it nor have the mobile app.

Is there anywhere else I need to amend the notifications?

I would start investigating apps that sync with with multiple devices. I.e. chrome/google, microsoft account, etc.

Also the settings I changed them on the steampowered website not the steam app. It should be the same though, double check if it isn't.

Its true indeed, it does change something when it comes to mouse. I noticed before when i open windows, the mouse is super fast then when steam automatically opens, mouse speed changes. I have noticed when i disable and enable the notifications, something regarding mouse speed gets affected, the mouse cursor shifts/moves.
I think using this method + body affecting the game might fix lag completely. My body does affect the gameplay 1000% , its been 4 weeks now and its very real, ill record with a camera n show u guys.

Yes it happens like this. Is this with notifications on or off? If u turn off does it still happen?
