if ure talking 'bout the 1st crysis one, it's now a pretty "old" game circa 2007, at that time a core2duo were recommanded and a core2quad were more than enough (concerning GPU, i think 8800GTX would be OK)

Hahaha, hilarious. A core2duo/quad will drop to 15 fps when there are enough soldiers on screen. And an 8800GTX will barely even run the game at all on the highest settings at 1920x1080 with AA

Crysis 1 was so poorly optimized, it still runs like crap on my 4.2Ghz i5, GTX 780 and 16GB RAM. And no, it doesn't offer the graphical fidelity to justify this. They just packed poorly coded effects into the game.
