I've used different CPUs with integrated graphics cards, and all of them had input lag issues, so I can confirm that this isn't related to NVIDIA. I think the problem is most likely with Microsoft.MK92 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025, 04:51So you went from a correct culprit - overloaded electrical grid during the daytime - to some "move cables, change ports, blow dust from your PC, re-plug peripherals"? Placebo fixing...it cannot be "better" or "worse" - you either have a problem, or you don't. And if the problem is power as you correctly assumed, then nothing you mention will really help.
It's output lag, not "input" lag. Your ports doesn't matter, everything you click or type is correctly inserted into the mobo, the CPU correctly processes it (and this is why none of the software tests will ever pick up anything - latencymon is perfectly fine, FPS is high, everything is fine), but when the information is trying to reach your monitor, it gets corrupted. It's a de-sync between the MOBO and output monitor, NOT between mouse/keyboard/whatever inputs and MOBO.

I'ts not Micorsoft of course, because its exactly the same on Linux as well, and I've even tried ancient Windows XP and it was still the same.
What do you mean disconnected UPS? You cannot get realistic results from those 5 minutes of usage on a battery.BumFlannel wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025, 22:45So why do issues remain on a UPS while fully disconnected from the mains/grid?
Fine then it's not, now keep on moving cables and ports around, buy 10 new PCs and monitors, try another 100 useless software and BIOS "tweaks" that you will find on this forum. And then maybe after another 5 years, you will accept the facts that electricity absolutely is the culprit, and that you cannot do anything about it beside moving to a location where the grid is not overloaded and riddled with interharmonics.Slender wrote: ↑05 Nov 2025, 03:28because that not electricityBumFlannel wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025, 22:45So why do issues remain on a UPS while fully disconnected from the mains/grid?

external batteries for UPS exists. I can play 8-10h offgrid with it. As Slender says its not fixing the issue, there is still fluctuations.
Its not simply a "grid problem".
Its not simply a "grid problem".

Do you have problems in dekstop and BIOS, or only in games? Problems in games only are NOT electricity related, obviously, but network. I have stuttering, choppy Windows animations, everything working slower, bad mouse, bad visual quality in desktop and BIOS as well, but only during the day.

You said you have tests where you see that the harmonics differ during the day and at night. Post these tests and show the frequencies.MK92 wrote: ↑05 Nov 2025, 07:03Do you have problems in dekstop and BIOS, or only in games? People seem to think the main issue is the power issue. I also believe it's a power issue. Because when you list all the possible causes using the method of elimination, the only thing left is the power issue. Has anyone with this problem purchased a laptop and tried it out?

I mean, completely disconnect the wiring in the walls. If you have $20, buy a wt3121, which detects 50/60Hz, to make sure your wiring is completely disconnected (and that your neighbors' wiring isn't affecting your system).
