Interestingly there’s a windows driver you can disable that gets rid of it in device manager, it’s been a while but I’ll have to go through them to find which oneHyote wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026, 10:44Unfortunate that it doesn't work. BIOS and Windows HPET are different as I know and it's generally recommended to leave it on in the BIOS and if you want to disable it, do it through Win, either by disabling the device itself or the entire ISA bridge.Mr1991 wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026, 18:03Extracted it and put it in my downloads folder (where your “INSTALL” batch file is) but no changesHyote wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026, 15:06Weird, I checked the methods, and tested them. Could you try extracting DSDT.bin from RWEverything? You need to go to the ACPI Tables menu, find DSDT at the very end and then save it as .bin then place it in the same folder as the script.Mr1991 wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026, 13:54
Yes the “test signing method”
This is what I get when I choose option 3, in fact any option gives red text: https://ibb.co/7JMPhL5X
Edit: not sure if it matters, but when I disable HPET through Scewin it doesn’t actually seem to do anything and it still stays visible in device manager
