what is the issue with realtek ethernet desync?

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

The problem is purely electrical and related to the lack of proper grounding. Every house has a certain amount of electrical load, not to mention the electrical saturation of the street's power grid itself. The only possible solution is to hire an electrician to install a dedicated power line directly from your home's main electrical source to where your PC and monitor are located, and to create a proper grounding connection both for your house and for this dedicated line.

The ISP is also important, mainly one that provides an MTU of 1500 and does not fragment packets.

I tested this myself. I moved my PC close to the electrical panel. A nearby outlet there is the first one fed by the circuit, along with only one other outlet. The heaviness disappeared. The desync was still there, but the heaviness and sluggishness of my character in several games had completely disappeared.

Because of that, I was able to validate about half of a theory suggested by a user here. I tested it from 6 PM to midnight, both in League of Legends and PES. As I said, the desync still existed, but the heaviness disappeared completely.

Unfortunately, I do not have the financial resources to fully verify my entire theory. This is what I discovered, and this is what it is.

I've also tried buying intel i210 t1 and the desync is still there. I am now on realtek 8127 with the netadaptercx driver, the desync is still there but less.

I live on the second floor. During the mining boom, I had a separate 2-kW line installed—that’s quite a lot— I also set up some kind of grounding from the heating coils, but judging by what many people have said—probably around 300 people—the high-quality grounding they did only solves 15% of the problem. Yes, the lag goes away, but the desynchronization and frame rate remain at the same dismal level as before. I don’t know how it is for others, but for me it’s as if there’s a different set of criteria. Specifically, I can’t smoothly aim from one end of the map to the other—whether I’m aiming, flicking, or using AVP—it either doesn’t register at all or overshoots. Others don’t seem to have this problem like I do; I haven’t observed this issue in other games, just in CS 2. Even in Aim Lab, where there shouldn’t be any problems at 1,000 FPS, they still exist, just like in CS.

Search on YouTube for Branuel CS, he's an Argentine streamer from here. Check his most viewed videos and compare his gameplay with videos from at least 6–8 months ago, before he moved to a different house.

At first glance, it's noticeable how much smoother both his gameplay and his aim look now. Before, he used to show the enemy POV, but he doesn't anymore because he no longer sees people standing still on his screen.

As far as I know, the only thing that changed was his ISP, besides moving to a different house, or at least that's what people were saying
