Unfixable problem

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

This week I went to a pc cafe and tried out their ps5 and pc with the peripherals they already had and still had the problem. Who has already done this and has come close to solving this problem or solved it? Is it the body? I’ve seen older posts talk about this. Idk what it can be anymore. :?:
Wow.... did you tried with your Steam account or Sony ps5 Account? or was the cafe account? Did you wear some of your perypherals there or used theirs? Its that Cafe close to your house?
I tried my steam account for the pc, but cafe account for the ps5, either way same thing. I used the headphones, mnk, and controller they had there already. Even the headset felt off just like on my setup. Im not sure what it can be now but I can now stop doing a million different tweaks. 15 min drive fyi.

I also tried it 3 different gaming cafes in 3 different continents. All their stuff. Also I am pretty sure I tried through new account also but have to rest again to rule it out fully. I still had issues.
And can't be steam account since the same problems existed on origin/ea app and my old PS3 which was fine back in early 2010s I'm pretty sure. I travel with my gaming laptop and problem is there any other place I take it.

So what else is left to conclude besides ourselves? I'm trying to make sense of this crap

Yes brother it no longer makes any logical sense. It use to be only my pcs that had this problem in 2020, until it spread to my consoles in 2023.It’s beyond frustrating.

I get some of these comments and I agree that we might as well be talking about different issues. I for one had issues with floaty mouse and input lag and it seemed clear that it was due to Windows having more bloat added and bad choices like a fixed 10 MHz QPC timer so I decided to unmake everything I could. Unfortunately the less input lag you want, the more you have to strip so many functions along with some games don't work.
There is no one on the forum more like me than hyote. The new timer added in version 1809 really did feel different in terms of smoothness and responsiveness - much like a vast number of other things in Windows. I really appreciate what you’re doing, because it’s the same thing I’ve been working on for over a decade, but unfortunately, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a battle against the symptoms rather than the root cause.
