I watched the videos and to me, it just looks like you’re conditioning yourself to not hit the target on purpose. Even assuming you do have the issue you’re describing, after noticing your crosshair lacking behind on the first bot, any reasonable person would compensate for the change in sensitivity and still at least hit the target instead of mindlessly missing it when they’re moving in a straight line. Furthermore, when you change back to your “healthy” state I noticed that you begin moving around like a schizophrenic compared to when your game supposedly “breaks”, in which case you move around like someone who isn’t used to holding a mouse and keyboard. To me this further proves that you’re conditioning yourself to believe whatever your mind wants you and I’m sure you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in a true blind test

God, why do dudes always do this. This is why nobody shows videos, because people always find someway to complain because it wasn't shown how they wanted it to be shown. Im literally trying to aim the exact same way in both clips, you expect that when i swap settings i instantly am changing the way i aim. No, my inputs are just moving so slowly in comparison that i cant aim aim the exact why i would normally. thats why its so far behind, because im not trying to change the way i aim. i can show you many clips in which i try to change my aim in order to adjust and still cant catch up. I can show you the same issue on controller, keep in mind. id have to ask, "do you know how hard it is to be constantly be tracking behind the enemy on purpose on a controller"

I have the exact same issue across every FPS I play. I actually ended up quitting FPS games altogether because of it. Then, about two months ago, my PC suddenly started behaving the way it should. It lasted for about a week, and I genuinely couldn't stop playing. You can feel the difference immediately—the moment you move your mouse on the desktop, everything just feels responsive and effortless.
Right now it's the complete opposite. It's gotten so bad that even getting a kill strains my thumb because I'm constantly fighting whatever this satanic issue is instead of relying on muscle memory.
Have you ever had a period where everything just works for a few days, only for the problem to come back?

How about you just download RawAccel and pin the graph on top of your Apex application and actually check how much force it’s taking you to move your mouse between healthy and faulty states instead of just guessing by feel? Since the bots always move at the same speed and mostly in a straight line it should be a fairly easy test

Yes, I also have partially given up on playing any competitive game after realizing it existed across all games that i played. ive never had my pc "work" for more than a week however. i once spent a whole month changing settings everyday and couldn't get it to work. ive had many times where im unable to get it to work for long periods of times and will have self doubts just to eventually get it to work and completely eliminate any self doubt i have about my capabilities. as games like apex legends on controller are extremely easy when the game is working so if you are playing even slightly worse, something is wrong. for me its not just slight though, its a ridiculously drastic difference. i use to just hop on everyday and hope my game would work. i felt like it worked more frequently but many times didn't. i eventually figured out that i can change settings to get it to work. now it feels like it almost never works unless i change settings and even then, changing settings can rarely help either. also yes, if Ive ever gotten it to work. it will go back to not working the next day.

it's not your computer , it's your connection. it depends about the global traffic and your neighborhood traffic the network quality the routes used to the servers. Fiber brought a big mess , more download upload usage for everyone but not enough global bandwidth increase , or maybe a system based on download / tv optimisation ruining the udp packets for fps.

I mean, i somewhat agree. truth be told, ive tested my pc. which was was a 5800x3d with a 3070 which i recently swapped to 14600k. and my brothers pc which is a 5800x3d and 4080. but i also went to an "internet cafe" which was 11 miles from me that allowed me to rent a pc with a 5060 ti and 240hz on a separate internet connection. all of the pcs i used, i felt like they had this issue which did not allow you to aim normally like how i know your suppose to be able to. I have me theory that my specific issue is not exactly input delay but something else that idk, seems similar. also a lot of people say this or that, like there game looks worse, they get dsync, hit reg issues. for me, either my game worked or it didnt. and all of those other things are completely unrelated. also it didnt matter if the game was at 200 ping or not, it either worked or it didnt. but ive tried reading into others situations and it sounds like if anyone has ever had something similar to me. the only way they have fixed is by getting a whole new pc, which im not sure if i wanna do considering the fact that ive tested 3 different pcs of which i believe all have this issue. or by moving states.

I mean i can, although i cant guarantee that i wont be seeing you in a whole month considering me "fixing" the issue comes down to pure lucky basically. also if it doesnt track what my aim looks like in game that it wont work because ive never figured out how to temporarily fix it outside of games.

I know exactly what you mean. The week my PC worked normally, I was shooting so straight you could've convinced me someone had secretly installed a recoil hack. On top of that, enemies seemed to move so much slower compared to how they move when the issue is present.
That week honestly made me question what it even means to be a good player. It might sound dumb, but I'm convinced a lot of those insane ranked players are able to consistently improve because their game feels the same every single day. Their baseline never changes, so they can build muscle memory and pick up right where they left off. When your input and aim feel different every time you play, it feels like you're relearning the game from scratch over and over again.

I agree, ive been quite upset due to the issue because ive felt that the moment id have it fixed. i would idk, try to become something. try to get into comp or something, try to grind ranked. id have the confidence to go into servers and meet other players who are also good and maybe stream. ive felt that the only reason pros or good players in general are able to play the way they are everyday compared to me who can play at a pretty similar level mechanically but only once in a blue moon was because i had this issue and they didnt. And ive stopped playing any competitive game because I was only playing to improve. At first i swapped to another controller game from apex, i eventually thought "maybe the aim assist is just too strong on apex so thats why im not as good. then i swapped to mnk because there isnt aim assist. i put over 5000 hours into games like siege and hunt showdown on mnk. when i felt that i was 100% sure of my sensitivity across all games, that being 28cm/360 i eventually came to the same conclusion i had when i originally swapped and felt that there was no reason to play because as long as i have this issue, i cant improve and thats all i was playing for. The same issue that effected me on apex effected me on every game. Also, i dont exactly know or am 100% sure that its input lag/delay because for example. apex season 28 introduced input lag to all controller players at the start of the season. it felt like i had both the input lag and the issue at the same time. also when i do certain things for example, i put both my gpu and but usb hub on the same cpu core. or yk just basic stuff like turning off all overlays or background task. i felt like it felt better but it didnt matter because i still had the issue.
