Then tweak your rams and bios and windows settings and enjoy perfect PC, where is the problem? How many thousand of placebo fixes will you try before realising that nothing helps, because its not the problem with software or bios settings?
Listen, i dont know if im just rage baiting and talking schitzo. and idk if anyone has exactly what i have but im just going to assume everyone does. i mean "sounds like input delay" but no input delay fixes it. no bios settings fixes it, reinstalling windows does nothing, reinstalling it on a portable iso does nothing, fixing dpc spikes does nothing, uninstalling all drivers do nothing, using old drivers does nothing, whole new pcs doesnt fix it, three monitors, three pcs, 4 new cpus. i feel like its not. like a lot of people in this forum talk about electromagnetic interference but to me it sounds like that would come from many different things. but if anyone has my issue which ive made videos on than it seems like it comes from one thing specifically, if it came from a bunch of random things all at once than i feel like it wouldn't be so consistently bad. and i just have a feeling that its not emi or input lag but those are just what people gravitate towards as words to describe the issue because we dont know what it is. but like, i feel like its something we dont know of or something. like we literally dont have a word to describe what the issue is. also at this point, besides doing the absolutely most insane task such as replacing my screws with copper or like idk, grounding my whole house or something. i feel like the only thing i have faith in is the idea of moving states. because me and other have tried moving apartments, i tried renting a pc in a "gaming cafe" 11 miles away and it still felt like that pc had the issue. idk if the "gridlines" or something are bad but my logic is simply that. if every pro is in texas and i dont know of a single good player in my state than maybe i too can be good in texas. so i should try to move there even though that would take some time. Ive seen people get mad at statements like this and saying not to treat the issue like magic but its just what i think.
Assuming that moving to Texas in pursuit of going pro were to actually fix the issue, you’re certainly competing against people who’ve had years if not decades of every-day hardware consistency to hone their skills and confidence.

I’m in my 30’s now and I’ve been gaming passionately for as long as I can remember, but no matter how hard I tried and how much free time and dedication I put into games, it always felt like I was pushing against an immovable object the entire time. My gaming sessions are riddled with inconsistencies, my monitor becomes blurry, my aim is so floaty it forces me to lower my sens every couple weeks to incredibly low thresholds just to be able to have some stopping power, and much more.

In the end after dedicating an unhealthy amount of time into this “hobby”, what I have to show for it is merely the tale of an above average player who could never excel at anything despite pouring sweat and blood into it.

I don’t know your age but for me maturing was accepting that unfortunately the sole existence of this inexplicable problem was enough to “cripple” me in my growth as a competitive enthusiast for possibly the rest of my life. It took a big toll on me psychologically but I’m trying to come to terms with it. What gives me some relief is reading this forum and knowing that, even if it’s all just in our head, there are people out there with similar struggles

People just don't understand what the problem is. The biggest reason for input latency is clock cycles vs every app/driver/device/service competing for CPU time that your game wants to run smoothly and in time. People say modern cpus can handle it. Sure if you don't care about input latency, that's true. But if you do care about input latency, it's not true. Reduce the core contention, you reduce your input latency. Even having an extreme FPS setting will cause core contention, you're making the game loop work harder to recalculate each scene for each new frame. So high FPS is not always better. You gotta find that right balance that doesn't introduce input latency.

There are other factors to, EMI is most likely not one of them. But if is related to electrical, it's most likely a bad grounding issue or a ground loop issue. Misconfigured bios settings, like leaving your settings on auto. Don't leave it on auto, set it to a definitive correct state. Then there's making sure windows and your devices is not in a power saving state but in a high performance state when gaming. Bad drivers are also another reason. Using the same machine to record/stream with. Of course you're going to get input lag since you're doing 2 graphics heavy tasks. Using high frame gen tech in the games that produce "fake" frames. APP Overlays.... I could go on.

A lot of people in these forums will never solve their problem because they don't understand what the underlying problem is. And when they use "tweaks" or suggested configurations. They don't understand what that "tweak" is actually targeting or fixing and could actually be the reason they do have input latency.

No shi people dont understand what the issue is, if anyones like me and has done all this stuff and everything says that my pc is working normally but i still have this issue and if i do have issues and fix it. it doesnt change THEE issue, than obviously they arent going to understand this completely illogical issue. also Isn't this just basic optimization stuff that your making seem complicated? like Capping framerates to avoid 100% usage, turning off certain settings in bios, disabling usb power saving settings, getting rid of overlays, and disabling background software. I've reinstalled Windows, reinstalled it on ios via rufus, and in bios ive disabled C-States, C1E/Enhanced Intel SpeedStep/or Speed Shift Technology, disabled native pcie aspm, disable erp ready, disable legacy usb support, disabled xhci hand off. forced fixed pcie gen modes and set xmp with tuned timings. Disabled hd audio controllers in bios, uninstalled realtek audio drivers. locked Windows to ultimate Performance in power management and turned off power saving in USB Root Hub. disabled multi plane overlay in the regedit. capped FPS in rtss and launch options. kept mouse polling at 1000Hz. it doesnt matter what usb port i put any of my inputs in. it doesnt matter if i have nothing plugged in except for my mouse. it doesnt matter if i set the affinity of my games to high. ive tried fixing dpc issues using latencymon and all these other tools. Uninstalled all my drivers, used old ones. and It doesnt matter what parts i get. ive used a 3070 with a 5800x3d and 16gb ram. ive used a 4080 with 9800x3d and 32gb ram. ive used intel, im on a 14600k right now. Ive plugged my pc into different power outlets. ive plugged my display port into my cpu to use integrated graphics to see if it was the gpu. ive basically crossed off all the parts i could possibly have changed besides my power supply. ive tried different display cables, ive tried hdmi. i have the issue on all games, i personally think i have it outside of games and in the browser, i got the issue on all inputs. ive had 3 different mouses, 2 different keyboards, 6 different controllers. doesn't matter if they are overclocked or not. Now ive probably missed something, whatever ive missed. ive probably done it. but most the most important thing of all. was that i rented a pc at a "gamer cafe" 11 miles away from my house and still felt like the pc there had the issue. now ive kept note of everything ive done but at the end of the day, it doesnt matter what i disable or enable.

i mean the pursuit would yk, perhaps not be to go pro. but even something as simple as streaming becomes difficult. its always in the back of your mind which makes it hard to enjoy anything. i think my end game goal would be to use someone's pc that i think doesnt have the issue.

Exactly, when I had this "lag" from nowhere, i started to complain, but i would not argue with my friends. I was just saying it's a lag because people won't believe you otherwise. In 6 years, it's the first time i talked about this to my friends. I wanted to make vidéos about the game, even if i am good enough like you i suppose to kill 99% of the other player. It's always in the back of your mind, i dont want people to see my gameplay that is not as sharp, smooth as before. I dont want to make videos complaining about that and say i should be better than other's.
It's so hard to not hinking about that, because you know yor friends won't believe you because it's not something as common as updating the drivers, updating windows. Making small tweaks...

Btw is theire a name for this probleme? Like we all are describing what it feels like but I never saw a name for this on internet. I would like to know.

I also suggested to name this problem.
But you'll never know how dumb and inexperienced the person behind making a post is.
