There's something funky going on with how this monitor is communicating with directX
I sent a PM to ToastyX but I don't know if he or Chief can figure out what the Benq monitor is doing.

Somethings acting strange.
If I have a 1024x768 @100 and 1024x768@120hz defined in standard resolution in CRU (at the same time), and I run a DX11 game, it doesn't matter WHAT the windows desktop refresh rate is set to...the DX11 game is going to run at 1024x768@144hz and there's no ands ifs ors or buts about it. It's bizarre because the refresh rate is being completely ignored...it's just using 144hz.
DX9 games are actually using the windows refresh rate and accepting the CRU resolution if the desktop refresh rate matches the one you are setting in the game.

If you remove all the 1024x768 settings (under standard), then the game runs at 100hz. If the windows desktop is set higher than 100hz, NOW it uses the windows refresh rate. e.g. 120hz.

I'm GUESSING that the DX11 game is using the first refresh rate that is NOT shown in CRU, or the windows refresh, whichever is higher. If a refresh rate is shown in CRU, the game tries to use the first available non listed refresh rate instead.

The only thing that seems to be a given is, if you remove EVERYTHING except detailed resolutions (removing all established and standard), then every resolution will use the windows refresh rate. I'm a bit tired of testing but I'm willing to bet that if you remove the 60 and 75hz settings in CRU, THEN the game will use the desktop refresh all the time.
