Excellent! Yes, this is correct -- the 120Hz improvement is far less with QNIX than with a strobe-backlight monitor, as I've already written in Blur Busters' Overclocked 1440p 120Hz Guide.

That said, if color and resolution is your priority, the QNIX is a really good choice.

Everybody reacts differently to the different aspects of an image, I have a friend for instance that is unable to see the difference between SD and HD on my TV!
It seems that resolution and contrast are the the ones I'm the most sensitive to. I absolutely love the black on the Qnix!
I also don't play FPS anymore so refresh rate is less important. I do see the difference with the test, it is pretty clear.
And I did switch to 1000Hz with the mouse

The QNIX 2710 exists in both multi-input and DVI-only variants. While both will accept an overclock to about 120hz, the multi-input version will skip frames rather than increase smoothness.

Yes, I do have the DVI-Only version.

On a different subject, I spray painted the bezel with Krylon spray paint. It's super easy as you don't even have to sandpaper it, just make sure it's clean. Here's the result

That bezel looks super cool! I hadn't thought of doing anything like that before, but in considering it now.

The paint is like $10 a can and the effort required is very small so I think it's really worth it.
