FG2421 + GPU
Re: FG2421 + GPU
My Eizo Foris FG2421 is going great on my GTX 770! I play a lot of BF4 at 1080p, 4x AA, 16x AF, Ultra settings, 100% scaling. Sure, it dips below 45 at times, but to me it stills looks great. I don't agree with the idea that one needs to run games at 120fps if they have 120hz monitor... Sure, its what you would need to get the most out of it, but it does just fine at 30fps and looks better than a 60hz monitor of any technology...
Re: FG2421 + GPU
Try a fast paced game that you can run at 120fps+ without dips below 120fps. V-sync it and enable turbo 240. Make sure the usb port for your mouse is set to 1000Hz.MonarchX wrote:My Eizo Foris FG2421 is going great on my GTX 770! I play a lot of BF4 at 1080p, 4x AA, 16x AF, Ultra settings, 100% scaling. And then you will change your mind.
(If you need a test game for it. I recommend Warsow. Because it's free, run easily at high frame rate, and is the style of game that benefits the most from clear motion and high fluidity.)
I know that this is subjective. But a first person shooter doing just fine at 30fps. That's unheard of.

Right, you can't possibly be okay with 30fps for an FPS, especially when you've experienced 120fps or 120fps with Turbo240, the difference is huge.Haste wrote:Try a fast paced game that you can run at 120fps+ without dips below 120fps.
