Xbox One X - 30 fps question
Re: Xbox One X - 30 fps question
Is there any monitor on the market with good motion interpolation for 30fps? I saw it on Samsung and Sony tvs but never heard about such monitors. Strobing isnt probably the thing I'm looking for.

Unfortunately, you need to buy a television instead for interpolation. No monitor on the market has interpolation. The best low-lag interpolation modes are in televisions, and still adds a couple frames input lag or so, but far less than 100ms.
You can use 3rd party interpolation software such as Smooth Video Project but that only works for playing video files.
Theoretically however, one could write a windows indirect display driver (there's a couple of open source projects) and route the desktop through the SVP module to get interpolation on the Windows desktop in real time. This is just generically tying two largely-existing projects together, if you're a programmer.

Re: Xbox One X - 30 fps question
30 FPS can feel pretty rough on a high-refresh monitor like the AD27QD. Some players don’t mind it, but once you experience 60 FPS in games like Gears 5, going back to 30 feels heavy with more noticeable motion blur and input delay. Titles like Metro Exodus and Jedi Fallen Order look great visually, but the lower framerate makes camera movement less smooth.
If responsiveness matters to you, I’d recommend sticking to games that offer a performance mode at 60 FPS. Small optimizations in your setup can also help. For example, checking and fine-tuning your mouse DPI settings using tools like [Mouse DPI Analyzers] can improve overall control and make gameplay feel a bit smoother.
In the end, it’s personal preference — some players are happy with 30 FPS, but many feel more comfortable at 60 once they get used to it.
