I'll let you know on Sunday, that's when mine arrives.Falkentyne wrote: ↑24 Apr 2020, 02:06Did anyone test if this monitor does dyac (Benq blur reduction) single strobe at 60hz refresh rate?
Single strobing at 60hz will be EXTREMELY obvious--there will be very noticeable backlight flicker compared to 100hz. and the Alien Invasion Test UFO page will look glass smooth with 60hz blur reduction without any sort of double image. Double strobe will not have flicker and will be very double imaged at 60hz.
I absolutely NEED to replace my XL2720Z soon... :/

Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Choice depend 100% for the needs of each gamer.
If the table is enought deep, 27" can be "converted" to 25", move it a bit more deep, until you have the same screen size feel.
If also use the monitor to see films or play console / emulator games from long distance in the same room, let's say on a couch 2-3 meters away, 27" is much more interesting. If is attached to VESA arm, can be moved closer to you for this purpose.

About to pull the trigger on the XF252Q, still not sure if I should wait for the XL2546S, or if one of those new 240Hz IPS is a better choice for purely playing CSGO competitively. :/

Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Same thing here.
I think I might just go for the xl2546s just for its motion blur reduction that doesn't decrease brightness. Even if it adds input lag, the motion clarity is worth it.
Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Do we have any launch date or speculations? I might just grab the XF252Q and return it when XL2546S reviews are able to convince me - however it would have to launch in a ~30 days window.DrUninstall wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 16:18Same thing here.

I mean, if you pick a xl2546, it has to be for its motion blur reduction. Otherwise, I'd just go for a Omen X25f (rtings says it has less ghosting than the acer)DaveN wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 18:46Do we have any launch date or speculations? Only review I found was on random YouTube and https://quasarzone.co.kr/bbs/board.php? ... _id=372040
Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Do not get the XF252Q, i'm on the 2nd monitor because the ghosting and smearing was so bad, this 2nd ones better but smearing is very noticable when turning
Re: XL2746S vs XL2546S
Where did you find this info? I'm trying to find it over here: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/co ... shold=0.01DrUninstall wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 23:38I mean, if you pick a xl2546, it has to be for its motion blur reduction. The Omen doesn't have BFI right? And it's still less blurry than the Acer?
Cheers!
