what if i dont care about tearing and i disable vsync? I dont even notice tearing, i only want to be smooth
You originally stated "Guys, i want to play games competitively but games like apex legends without gsync is not smooth, what's the best setting of gsync for the lowest input lag?"

Tearing = not smooth. And you asked for G-SYNC settings; the settings I listed in my last post allow the lowest lag G-SYNC possible while retaining smoothness.

Also, the V-SYNC option within the G-SYNC range is NOT V-SYNC, but a function of G-SYNC that fully prevents tearing. However, if you're not comfortable enabling the V-SYNC option with my recommended settings, feel free to use my settings but with both the in-game and NVCP V-SYNC options off. Just know you'll sometimes see tearing (even within the G-SYNC range) with the V-SYNC option off.

Yeah, I hear the latest COD games have poor performing FPS limiters, so RTSS is probably a better option for that specific game.

With all games where i use gsync i should go with the same options for all?

Yes, G-SYNC on + NVCP V-SYNC on + minimum -3 FPS limit (in-game or external depending on the game).

Strange nVIDIA dont enable V-Sync by default when G-Sync is enabled? They advertise so heavily for a tear free experience with G-Sync but i doubt many users know about this. They have learned the past 10-years that V-Sync is "bad" :)

I am reaching 300fps on the new Valorant game and if im not hallucinating i actually see the tearing when i remove fps limiter and turn off v-sync. Its very small but if i move quckly left and right i can see some edges break off slightly. Atleast i think so. Im usually using the NVCP fps limiter with V-Sync on but i didnt know i should enable Ultra Low Latency as well. Any situations you dont want it on or should be on any situations? I thought it was for only GPU bound situations.
