I also would love to see BattleNonSense re-test that specific part of the video. If I remember correctly he back then assumed it was a driver issue, but who knows if Nvidia cared to fix it?

You aren't wrong or crazy. I was having this issue with my AW2723DF and made a post about it: viewtopic.php?t=15080

Now I see your post and it's the same issue I've been having.

G-Sync/VRR is not active, yet having it "on" but disabled still affects the input latency when it "shouldn't." At this point, I believe it is a driver issue and should be tested/taken seriously. Your thread seems to have gotten derailed a bit but your post helped me. In my case, I disabled G-Sync because my frames are above the refresh rate anyway for a long time. After a GPU driver reinstall, I left the settings at default for once. This left all of my games at the "G-Sync Compatible" Monitor Technology setting under Manage 3D Settings instead of the usual "Fixed Refresh" setting I used before.

I ended up enabling G-sync under the Set up G-SYNC tab, which would solve the input latency, then I'd disable the setting and the low input lag would stay. Something is definitely wrong with the G-Sync implementation on these monitors and no one has tested them for this issue because it shouldn't be happening at all.
