Yeah that’s what I was worried about, I can still cancel the order and spend $100 more for something better, what do you think?

I personally wouldn't buy a monitor that doesn't have variable overdrive. You can check for that here:

You can filter the table to only show monitors which have that feature. Under "Variable Overdrive" click "All" and change it to "Yes."
