Access the service menu on the monitor and check if DDC/CI is enabled?

Installing the driver from the CD that came with the monitor did the trick, strobe utility works. I have absolutly no clue why the useless displypilotsoftware does not install those drivers nor do I have any understanding of why benQ does not provide those drivers themself on the webpage. Bad support, very bad support indeed.
In case anybody ever runs into the same problem (I didn't even carry thy CD home, I left it at work...), here is the "Drivers" folder straight from the CD. The drivers are for the 2411T and the 2411Z:

I know this post is super old, but I had this same issue with a XL2720Z. To fix it I just ran Blur Busters with Administrator rights. Now it works.
