just try any screen with mbr active to understand what i'm talking about.
I honestly don't know what you are talking about, do you mean strobe crosstalk? strobing afterimage?
I see that you have a xl2546k in your signature, well I also had that monitor, just go into the game and start moving right and left, with dyac off the image is perfectly fluid, smooth as butter, with active dyac you will see on the background of the micro shots, there is not much to add, this happens with all monitors when mbr is active, among the panels that I tried the one where it was less noticeable is xv252qf, but he does it too.
Monitors need to have a low native response time, no tricks.

I'm still not understanding what issue you are describing.

If I enable Dyac (or ELMB since I don't have the XL2546K anymore) I can see everything more clearly, I think that what you might be noticing (which is harder to notice with fixed speed motion pursuit tests) is strobe crosstalk/afterimage being enhanced by the speed of your camera (try it yourself by strobing at 960pps and 1920pps), that is normal and one of the drawbacks of ELMB/Dyac, with strobing OFF the image is smeared and appear more "fluid" if that's what your mean, but not necessarily more clear during movements.
