the servers in europe and the matchmaking where i play i almost never get such high pinger and differences here in my matchmakings and online games that i play.

MM is way better, as it has more server Location afaik. But here from yesterday a classic Faceit Match:

There is always at least 1 guy above 80ms. Those 2 On T side played the whole Match with 140ms
But yeah MM is way better on average Ping.

if ping and lagcomp matters and following your logic...then such hitreg fails would not happen in low ping matches.

I would bet solid money that this occurs WAY less in LAN Environments or where everyone has almost equal ping.

I mean Ping and other players Ping is almost never the Topic when "Desync" is discussed.
It is also telling that no one has ever "Fixed desync" issue. People report Improvement when they moved to new Location, but then maybe the fix was a higher average ping = less compensation. Or they play only MM and only play with lowping players.


So NO Lag Compensation would just be "Neutral". You would just see what the server has seen when the packet was send to you.
Better Ping= Better and more Accurate Position.

for what need lagcomp if it doesnt even work or only ruin low ping vs low ping matches ?

I described earlier in this thread. It is to make highping player competitive. Because without Lag Compensation, +100ms has NEVER a chance vs 10ms. But when you buffer 10ms Player for 40ms, 100ms Player still recieves Packets after 100ms, but the difference on the Server is now only 50ms and not 90ms. This maybe works great when everyone are on similar pings, but when the difference is huge you see desync issues. As said before, this is just buisness vor Valve and Co. they want to sell millions of Copies, but what if everyone who lives in small Village or outside city cant compete because highping. No one will buy.

if lagcomp is only unfair for low pings and high pings are in advantage...
then just use vpn server or play on servers that far away from you.
easy fix.
now you are in advantage.

or you can increase your ping, delay locally by using tools like clumsy.
that gonna make lagcomp prefer you and low pings gonna suck.

enjoy this easy fix guys.
i solved desync/lag for all low pings that suffer from buffers against higher pings and that play on lagcomp servers.

now everything is fairplay.

You can also click the exclamation mark icon ("Report Post" or "Report Private Message") for anything you receive on these forums that breaks rules. That sends alerts to all of us. That's better than publicly counter-breaking forum rules on each other.

blackmagic I found fix for you. no more samp carrier and silver hardstuck in valorant!

Electric meter is more realistic solution than changing fan slots kid stop being toxic and crying you are useless!

It's amazing on Faceit when the guys has 140 ping and hit everything i definitly can understand this game

Test disabling lag_compensation for people with low ping? could this help? Or would that be counterproductive?
I'm going to try a few rounds on Faceit to see

Lag comp is definitly not the problem here

the disabled lag_compensation worsens the thing, on the other hand something really curious, I have just changed the snd_mixahead to 0.5 it is not even worth it it adds a crazy latency on the other hand at 0.01 the sound is disgusting but my hitsregs are much more accurate & more ez to headshot, this game is a total mystery lmaoo
