I've just followed this guide making sure to set up a custom resolution for the VT and turning single strobe on in the service menu. What do you get by doing the VT tweak? It seems to make the monitor brighter? Also I'm not sure what turning single strobe to on does but I did it anyway - My monitor seems to look a lot better with your settings
Do you use the CSGO settings for all games or do you use the regular usage profile for games
Hey there drakegive55,
The other games i'm currently playing like GTA 5 and Dota 2 i do use the Regular Profile, in which concerns to BF3 and BF4 use the CS:GO profile instead

Did you ever figure out how to fix the profile bug - When you change profiles you lose some settings

Im having same problem how when i tab out from the cs go and get back is taking around 5 sec.How did you solve this ?

So, after almost a week tweaking and configuring out the BenQ XL2430T, i managed to get a balanced mix of settings i'm sharing with all you guys. The BBR tool wasn't needed at all since this monitor brings up the new Motion Blur Reduction which comes with Intensity and Area settings on the OSD (same as Strobe Duty and Strobe Phase) that take care of job. I've created a custom resolution of 1080p @ 120Hz with VT1500. Hope to help other XL2430T owners and I'll be looking for your opinions and sugestions
VT Tweak: 1500
Refresh Rate: 120Hz
BenQ Service Menu: Single Strobe ON
ICC Profile:
http://www.displaylag.com/icc-profiles/ ... 0Final.icm
Gamer Profile 1 (Regular Usage):
1920x1080
Blur Reduction: ON
Intensity: 16
Area: 40
Black eQualizer: 0
Color Vibrance: 9
Low Blue Light: 0
Instant Mode: ON
Auto Game Mode: OFF
Picture Mode: Standard
Brightness: 90
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 6
Gamma: Gamma 5
Color Temperature: User Define (R:98, G:100, B:99)
AMA: High
Dynamic Contrast: 0
Senseye Demo: OFF
Display Mode: Full
HDMI RGB PC Range: RGB (0~255)
Overscan: OFF
Gamer Profile 2 (Counter Strike: Global Offensive):
1920x1080
Blur Reduction: ON
Intensity: 16
Area: 40
Black eQualizer: 0
Color Vibrance: 18
Low Blue Light: 0
Instant Mode: ON
Auto Game Mode: OFF
Picture Mode: Standard
Brightness: 100
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 6
Gamma: Gamma 5
Color Temperature: User Define (R:99, G:100, B:99)
AMA: High
Dynamic Contrast: 0
Senseye Demo: OFF
Display Mode: Full
HDMI RGB PC Range: RGB (0~255)
Overscan: OFF
Can you please take a photo of your results achived with the Benq Blur Reduction 2 on the Ufo Invasion Test and upload it please? Is it comparable to the Blur Buster Strobing Utility? I'm having problem chosing my next monitor.. :/
Thanks in advanced!

By the way if i use Intensity:10 and Area: 10 the light of the screen is almost same with blur redction off.Is there something wrong if i keep them like that instead of Intensity : 16 and Area : 40?

Randy, are you using a VT Tweak?
What we found out (Masterotaku actually found this out over a year ago, but at the time, even strobemaster didn't believe him) is that having the Area at 100 (or the maximum value before the strobe persistence (duty / intensity) becomes 0ms (the backlight will turn off at this point) actually IMPROVES input lag by one frame (1000 / refresh rate) milliseconds. So for the absolute fastest response and reaction times, it's recommended to use a high Area (Area 100 if NOT using a VT tweak, but if using a VT tweak, the backlight will turn off at:
125hz VT 1500: area 046
120 hz VT 1500: Area 049
100 hz VT 1502: Area 059
91 hz VT 1502: Area 066
85 hz VT 1502: Area 072
Each of these values have a MAXIMUM intensity (Strobe duty) value of 1 (or 25, it may be inverted on the XL2430T; on the Z series monitors, the Strobe Duty in the service menu started at 1 for lowest persistence/most blur reduction/dimmest screen and 30 was highest persistence).
The point where the backlight turns ON is exactly 0.167ms of persistence = the equivalent of Strobe Duty (Intensity) = 001. The maximum strobe duty allowed (meaning all higher values are ignored) is limited by area value before the backlight shuts off.
The benefit of using a high Area value is 1 frame of improved input lag and no crosstalk at the top of the screen.
The drawback of using a high Area value is a lot of crosstalk at the BOTTOM of the screen with no way to improve it.
A low area value has low crosstalk at the bottom of the screen but at the expense of crosstalk at the top of the screen (adding points of strobe duty (assuming strobe duty 001 is DIMMEST screen; this may be duty 025/intensity 25 on the XL2430T also increases the crosstalk at the top of the screen as crosstalk is moved downwards slightly as persistence is raised.

Hi guys! Really fun to have found this thread.
I've set everything up on my monitor but the only thing I cannot get to work is the VT Tweak? As OP said he used VT 1500, I only get black screen with it set @ 120Hz, is there anything I missed? I've gone through guides how-to install everything but no matter what I get black screen.
I'm sorry if I totally missed something, I'm new at this.

If you get a black screen it's because the strobe phase is probably defaulted at 100. Go into the service menu and change the strobe phase to 000. You can also change it through the OSD as the 'Area' value for blur reduction.
Strobe duty is "Intensity" but it might function in backwards values than it does on the Z monitors.
The single strobe on/off setting is only accessible in the service menu.

Thanks alot Falkentyne.
I was playing around in Service menu and changed Strobe duty to 016 and Phase to 040.
I will try Phase at 000 after some sleep. I appreciate your help!
