First time on these forums, decided to make an account as I'd read a lot about the whole blur reduction, the blur busters utility and all such.
Now I managed to pick up a BenQ 2420Z monitor with 2 months behind it, the guy who had it swapped to a 3x 27" setup instead, so price was ~175$ off the new price here in Denmark - I call that a bargain personally!

Anyway, it came with the v1 firmware, so I wondered if there's anyone in / around Denmark who's got one of these utilities I can borrow / rent?

So i have a MSTAR ISP now but i cant get it working. When i start the tool it says "Cannot install driver to your system!". I start thinking that the real problem is that i have no printer port on this pc. Is that the problem and i need an older PC with the port?

EDIT: I just read on the forum somewhere that you need an lpt port.. Guess thats indeed your problem (and would be mine too if I had one...)

You don't need an LPT port to use the MSTAR ISP.

The LPT port is only needed for the homebrew ISP method.

The new Linux method requires no LPT port nor MSTAR ISP.

So three main ways to upgrade a BENQ Z-Series to Version 2.
- MSTAR ISP, via USB
- Homemade ISP, via LPT
- Linux method, no hardware, direct upgrade via graphics card.
