Does anyone know here or has tested this monitor at lower HZ like 120 or 144? How does it peform latency wise then?

Totally agree with you axaro1, and @samnotyall, yes, it's very worth it to pay more for the "K" version over the regular XL2546. The "K" model is significantly better, especially in panel performance (motion clarity) over its predecessor, in my opinion. The new Fast Liquid Crystal panel is definitely a significant upgrade.axaro1 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020, 03:04for $30 you are getting:
- A much faster panel, the old one used on the XL2546 and 2540 has a 4.1ms G2G panel according to RTings, this one is probably at 2ms (or even sub 2ms)
- Refined Dyac
- New OSD
- New stand
- 3x HDMI 2.0 + 1 DP 1.2 compared to 1 HDMI 2.0 + 1 HDMI 1.4 + 1 DP 1.2
I want to add that my XL2546K model doesn't even suffer from the vertical lines issue.
The XL2546 should cost 100$ less than the K model, there is no reason for the two monitors having the same pricing.
Is this an upgrade to an Omen X 25f? I only play CSGO and I am happy with my Omen... Just wanted to see if this is worth the $$$.speancer wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 17:39samnotyall wrote: ↑25 Nov 2020, 16:14Would the K version be worth it over the regular XL2546? I'm currently testing XL2546K and it's easily the best high refresh rate TN monitor I've ever used, and the first one to be free from pronounced pixel inversion artifacts (for example, my XL2546 had terrible pixel inversion artifacts, aka "vertical lines issue"). I am pleasantly surprised with how good this monitor is, saying it as someone who rather prefers IPS panels in general.
Oh, yes, in my opinion Zowie XL2546K is far superior over Omen X 25f, in all motion handling, ergonomics, strobing (which the Omen does not have at all), features (like Black eQualizer) and build quality. My unit of X 25f also suffered from significant pixel inversion artifacts. X 25f's motion clarity in-game looked actually worse to me than on ASUS VG259QM (280 Hz IPS).
I deeply appreciate your input @speancer! I had been stuck between Zowie vs Asus (280hz) vs Msi, and your comment settled it for me. Considering my main game is CS:GO, and that I have other displays to do audiovisual work with, I believe that the Zowie is the best gaming monitor (particularly shooters) one can go with right now.speancer wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 17:39samnotyall wrote: ↑25 Nov 2020, 16:14Would the K version be worth it over the regular XL2546?
