Yup, he hasn’t been on the forum since February, he is out enjoying his game now

I'm going to give it a shot next month and report back, or even a battery, but gaming on it for 3 hours is not really a solution.

Playing RTS games for example is no longer enjoyable, since I upgraded, the mouse just feels very sluggish and heavy, and an overal increased input lag too, it's pretty obvious when I'm on my low end laptop, compared to my high end PC.

I know for a fact my country has electrical problems in general, and this is confirmed by another guy on this forum who stays in belgium for work, apparently. (I had no issues in france) here is another belgian with similar problems... It's just very frustrating.

Has anyone tried 8k polling rate with motion sync? How did that affect the mouse tracking?

This is my last update/post on this forum, but the Salicru SLC 1000 Twin PRO2 UPS drastically improved the input lag with conversion mode enabled.. upon logging in windows everything felt instant and very sharp snappy.

Even in game the monitor is very clear and sharp, but more importantly, the input lag is almost completely gone.

There is still some latency increase over time, so I guess it's not a full fix.

What do you mean when you say "some latency increase over time", in which moments and to what extent does it show up? Is the image quality on the monitor still the same or has deteriorated?

It's enough to just plug the monitor into a UPS the effect is drastic even with just that. It acts as an active filter, which is worth more than a passive EMI filter or a ferrite ring those don't really do anything. A UPS can definitely help, it's just a shame that it requires a battery. I suspect the monitor is the source of the lag for everyone it's always connected, and it transmits its own electrical noise directly into the graphics card.

Probably not going to fix the root cause or make any difference, but what kind of UPS would suffice assuming you’re only going to plug the monitor into it?

Honestly my only forever lasting issue for the past 10+ years has always been graphics degrading and becoming blurry, janky and pixelated. My 360hz 1440p OLED feels like 60hz on a good day, but I know it’s not the monitor because I had the same issue on a 240hz Benq TN panel.

Okay, in your case it doesn't, but in mine it does, which is why there is no universal solution. If this doesn't help you, please keep looking.

I’m asking for which one you got that worked for you

I bought the cheapest uninterruptible power supply (UPS) available, an FSP UPS CHAMP 1K Tower Schuko. Just by plugging my monitor into it, I immediately played better I was hitting some really nice shots. However, it was quite loud, so I sent it back and bought a CyberPower OLS1500EA-DE instead. It has a very low THD, 5% for non-linear loads, whereas the FSP was at 6%.

I am certain that if I could plug the monitor into a different circuit one separate from my current one it would solve the issue, perhaps using a galvanic isolator, which would eliminate the need for a UPS. Unfortunately, there is no other solution besides getting a UPS. In this case, it only needs to change the battery occasionally, but honestly, it’s still a better solution than nothing. As for alternatives to a UPS, let's just drop it. I’ve already tried a toroid, ferrite beads, and a 4-phase EMI filter from AliExpress they had 0% effect. The UPS helped immediately.
