Hello Guys,
Hope I'm coming to the right place for this
Recently after I have freshly reinstalled my windows (not sure this is related I'm just mentioning in case)
I have started experiencing flickering/blackout issues when using my Acer XV252QF on 390Hz
My settings are the following:
I have it on 390Hz overlocked
Using VRB on "normal"
Rest of the things are all "Off"
Color is gamma 2.2 - warm + using a display port (added with the order)
I'll post some of the videos to show an example, I just would like to understand if these issues could be coming from a defective display cable? Perhaps a defective monitor? Also I believe it is important to mention that I have been using it on the exact same settings over 1 year and 1 month now, but recently I have started to have these issues which I'll attach in the videos!
UI.: Since I'm new not sure how can I add videos below, could someone help me with that?
Thank you for the help and discussion in advanced

Theres your fix. Nvidia latest drivers seems to have an issue with enabling custom resolutions. If you have issue then try 537.58 drivers.

monitor continues to serve me well for wt ab air which is the only thing i play for 1/2/3 yrs on if u read the thread before u know what i had considered and what i actually mained in the yrs prior circa 17/18.
anyone mained this big time moved on to something big worth an upgrade? just by the numbers i don't see anything 780hz yet but 1/2 yr ago i saw news that nvidia did some stuff with what was it? ulmb 2 or something? that promised 1000hz motion clarity on 500hz stuff? i'm sure it's not actually true 1000hz quality but then also the problem of win10 not supporting 500hz+plus, not to be confused with 500fps plus which is easy to forget sometimes..

Friendly informative notice for other forum readers who keep confusing VRR and VRB terminologies.
VRR = Variable Refresh Rate (FreeSync)
VRB = Visual Response Boost
For ACER monitors you can't hack-enable VRR (FreeSync) and VRB (strobing) at the same time on this model (AFAIK).
Unlike some models of Gigabyte and ASUS, currently Acer does not appear to be officially supporting VRR+VRB concurrently at the moment on this specific model.
I have a question. Doesn’t he need Windows 11 and an HDMI 2.1 to be able to do a QFT? As far as I know that specific Acer panel only has HDMI 2.0.
