I hope the 360hz TN SKU won't delay or prevent a 500/540hz TN SKU. BenQ made a big show of skipping 360hz IPS panels because they weren't the best for esports, but after all this time they have announced they'll be using an inferior panel to what's available.
If they're skipping 500hz panels I will definitely be swapping brands. BenQ is lacking in features anyway. Gigabyte for example features custom (user-generated) OSD crosshairs.

A lot of monitor manufacturers offer Crosshairs. However that is considered cheating.

okay so the XL2566K (360hz) seems available for pre-order on https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... 60_hz.html
i asked the store and they said its a special order, which takes 7-10 for the monitor to reach the store, and after that it begins shipping.

I mean, what would the compelling reason be to upgrade from a 2546k? Just for 120hz more? I don’t know, I’m more leaning towards the Asus 500Hz to be honest.
Asus VG248QE, Dell S2721DGF, Samsung Odyssey G7 27”, Viewsonic XG2431, XL2546K, MAG251RX, XL2566K, MSI 272QP X50. 7800x3D, 5080.

I have used 2546k as well as 360hz monitors, and the extra 120Hz have clear benefits in terms of smoothness. Nonetheless, the 360Hz ones (IPS) suffer from motion blur due to slow pixel response. What I'm hoping is that the TN panel brings faster pixel response, in conjunction with a good DyAc at 360Hz with high brightness. It leaves the opportunity for this monitor to be a significant improvement compared to 240Hz TN and 360Hz IPS which basically were ties I would say. But yeah, the Asus 500Hz E-TN (or 540Hz?) is gonna follow soon after... for it to be a tie with the 2566k? Or better this time? Also waiting for the pg27aqn, they advertised innovations in pixel transition technology (so called ultra-fast IPS).

I wonder what other improvements this monitor will have besides the extra 120hz?
