Hey guys, I did some research and the monitor is available for sale on a Russlan website. here's the link /catalog/viewsonic/ViewSonic_XG2431/# hopefully its available worldwide soon :)
I'm from Russla. I contacted the managers of this store through feedback at the end of April. The monitor is out of stock, and the price is based on the assumptions of the store, in fact, you can book, but they do not know when they will be on sale. Sorry for google translate)

The Russlan website says HDMI, and DVI. No DisplayPort?

That's very disappointing. I was holding off any other purchases in order that I could buy this monitor, but it feels like I've been waiting for forever. I know product development isn't easy and I'm sure they don't want to have to delay it, but it is still disappointing for those of us who have been eagerly awaiting it.

In the Description section it mentions DisplayPort.

It also looks like they're selling it starting September 1st, and for about $450.

How do you guys rate the $450 price? Does it sound legit for the product? I think the XG2401 cost me like 270€ back then.

That is very expensive for the spec. Overpriced "Elite" series just like XG270. I really hope it doesn't go over $400.
Similarly spec'd monitors are in $300-380 range I believe.
