The predictable situation, sellers of VPN, "Magic" cables, special filters and other useless things should appear in this place; this was only a time question.

First world country they say. Harhar. =(

I think majority of the nation is still out of reach for them ftth/fttp so most people are under the mercy of cable companies.. who can do whatever until they get fined by states years later for messing with consumers which I won't get to see a cent of (relevent southpark clip, pg18)

OP hasn't put up any real proof but this is one of the realest thing posted on these forums admist piles of people complaining that they are getting outplayed in silver ranks in perfect settings. I am still having trouble accepting that this is happenining in Germany or else where in the Europe, I thought you guys had human rights.

u guys gotta realise that 2 days of testing is nothing.
U gotta realise that after year gaming with hitreg abscence and ferraripeekers I can pretty consistently say that issue fixed and returning to same hitreg abscence and ferraripeekers with turning my "vpn" off.
But ok, if I recall, I will quote you in a few month lol

Really funny read that from person, who saying something about infinity fabric latency, because searched some articles in internet from same "experts" :D
Maybe you have integrated nanosecond timer to measure difference between 40 and 70 ns?

BTW, I tested myself with AGLatencySplitTest and can say that 10ms input lag is hard to feel in blind test. 20ms is 50\50, 30ms = 100% correct results. Maybe esports pros can feel 10ms. But I never believe that 30ns is making a difference.

I don't know why he would be trolling. Any brand new potential fixes with some explanation I welcome. And this has been the most helpful so far.

So I tried creating own VPN using VPS server and openVPN, Also trying WARP+ based on Chief's suggestion.

While not perfect, both improved my game in different ways and alleviates 50% of the problems like hitreg, desync, graphics clarity, mouse responsiveness. None of the hundreds of different Windows, graphics, hardware or software "tweaks" I treid over the last 2 years ever improved the online games I play like this where my bullets are actually going where they are supposed to and also not dying in impossible ways. At this point, I am very sensitive to how the mouse feels in game. trying these VPN options, the mouse just feels mostly right while aiming, shooting, picking up items or moving around the game. Also in my older post, I mentioned how my game weirdly improves randomly while watching twitch in the background, using other simple VPNs or changing around the sftp and rj11 cable(first time using only but they stop working eventually).

So far WARP+ is still working for me most part( besides have some packet loss issues or microfreezing) but It probably will stop working alltogether. Seems like no matter what I try in my case, the ISP or the internet line or wires is still being throttled somehow with most of the issues coming back after like an hour or so. May have to have a talk with my ISP again if anything can be done about this.

And people still being skeptical I understand since we tried so many different things and nothing fix it but if all these hundreds of tweaks or even trying several different PCs or peripherals hasn't fixed the issues, it gotta be something outside your control like internet or electrical. In my case, I have ruled out it being PC or since I have tried almost 10 different systems and many different mouses, keyboard, monitors etc. I can understand if you only tried 1 PC and have these issues but if every system you try playing and all the input input lag and desync issues exist, it gotta be some external issue and now windows tweaks gonna fix it.

Although, one thing I can not understand is why trying to play over my mobile hotspot or trying my PC at different location with different internet connection(wifi) didn't fix anything but these VPN options seem to work for an some amount of time.

what difference does it make if your mouse moves like shit

I know what you are getting at, but I "think" in CS mouse steering feels shit with worse ping for some reason. IF vpn can help with your ping consistency it can make mouse feel better as well, a little bit.

But I am with you on the general sentinments of the reply chain. I thought there would be more people talking about usb overclockings and people tinkering with nvidia inspectre or what not, instead most of these threads are bad players upset that they are dying to players who they consider to be lesser while trying to find deeper meaning to life. Like just in this thread we have network experts that needs help with setting up vpn on their platforms and asking what's so special about openvpn.

This is a complicated topic, if you got something real on it's actual effectiveness of reducing ns in base cpu/ram cycles, people will be definetely interested.(something more real beyond having intel and saying its epic, or having amd and saying 3600c16 is more than enough in 2022). You can follow Ian Cutress of anandtech and read over his results and his readings of it to learn more.

Well, hopefully it got solved for you mate! I tried many VPN's in the past, changed 4 different ISPs and the input-lag, bad hitreg and desync always came back for me. Please give it a couple of weeks, even a month, then report back if you can.

Chances are you live in a true first world country where internet companies can't play games in the back and they are all somewhat decent

I think for internet related lag tips (anything that goes beyod your top end router) people really need to declare their country and their provider or at least the type of service they get, fttp, cable, dial up etc. People are again just stabbing in the dark it worked for me it didn't. Like why would OP post a screenshot of csgo instead of treacert comparisons whyyyyyyyyyyy.
