I was just about to make one with ChatGPT, thanks for the script. Can also confirm this tweak works and brings us a step closer to near realtime performance.Anonymous wrote: ↑14 Aug 2024, 21:09Here is an automated script that should have all that is necessary and remove the fake/virtual devices.

This is not possible because Valve removed the Steam-powered forum. And yes, he's absolutely right—everything you're trying on this forum has been attempted by others a long time ago.
Re: Reduce lag and responsiveness by changing mouse and keyboard priorities
yes. none of them ever found out how everything really works. The fact that others have tried something and it didn't help them doesn't mean that this thing is useless.

You asked where you could read, and I told you where. Yet, you're still not satisfied.

Anyone tried removing the HID keyboard device tied to the mouse after every startup? I have 3 devices under my mouse, one with the mouse itself, one full of HID consumer control devices and one with a HID keyboard that can't be disabled, only uninstalled. I do that every startup and it feels quite a lot better. Also disabled task manager some time ago, no need for it while gaming, Process Explorer for anything else and it's not running all the time.
