Yes my dude, humidity can have an effect on the signal strength of electromagnetic waves. Not about their latency (i.e. humidity does not slow down EM waves, which don’t even require a medium). None of that can even affect you typing on your phone or the scrolling on your phone as those signals don’t even travel through the air but through the wires inside your phone.MegaMelmek wrote: ↑15 Aug 2024, 15:04
Because you screeming placebo and snake oil….
In what enviroment will radio wave penetrate more.
1. in absolute dry air?
2 in wet air?
When you find answer then you can start make some statement.
At best you solved some packet loss if you were on WiFi and/or used a wireless controller. Or you lowered the temperatures in the room somehow, so your console does not run into temperature throttling any more.
The idea that an air purifier can make your individual packets fly faster cannot be backed up scientifically. As such, your anecdotal evidence is merely anecdotal.
And don’t get me wrong, I am really happy for you that your gaming is better now.
Edit: Oh, I almost forgot: If you’re not already, switch to cables for internet and for your controller. That will have a much better impact on your input lag.
