Does it mean input lag or reponse time ? cuz if it`s response time looks like it better than on monitors like AW2523HF and XG259QNS ?
The heatmap is G2G response time.
I assume it's 10-90% G2G with no gamma correction
I would skip this 310hz model and go for a proper 360hz-capable model due to better refresh rate sync with video content (24,30,60) and larger VRR range.
Both the AW2523HF & XG259QNS should sport the same panel.

Coming from a Benq XL2420T 120hz 1080p TN. Would this be a significant upgrade or should i look for something else?. However this monitor is like 1cm shorter than mine so it might mean my head would be looking a tad bit more down (I know i could buy a wall arm, but...)
Also, is "Clear type" on this monitor really an issue then?... Looking for a worthy 1080p or 1440p 24" upgrade but i'm new to IPS and want as less issues with IPS Glow/Backlight bleed as possible
Sure i could go for another TN but i don't like the new Benq monitors' coil whine AT ALL, and even less the increased price over it. Max 240hz looking for (For single player and frenetic games like DOOM ETERNAL, along horror games like ALAN WAKE 2 and RESIDENT EVIL for reference, hence the glow/BLB)

Personally, I don't mind the Clear Type issue that much anymore. On the coil whine... In certain scenarios it can produce a slight coil whine that goes away with a quick power cycle. So far I haven't been able to replicate it reliably enough, but it seems to me that it has something to do with enabling its ELMB modes under special circumstances. It could also just be my unit because I haven't seen anyone else mention the issue before in user reviews.

Sorry for hijacking, but I would like some more information about the XG259CMS
there are two chinese reviews of the monitor on Bililbili, one of the reviews state that all overdrive modes over level 10 are the same. i read that this is a firmware issue
another review states that it can go as low as 1.79ms
i want to know if this firmware issue has been fixed? thanks in advance
